The Lower 9th Ward.
A cab driver took us to view a portion of the 9th Ward. Even months after
the flooding, the area was a total disaster. For as far as you could see there
was destruction. Many streets are still impassable and there are belongings
and abandoned cars everywhere. We only viewed a very small portion of the
devestation and it was overwhelming.
